Common questions
Can someone attend a day program and get home health?
Yes. They serve different purposes and Medicare's home health benefit does not exclude adult day attendance. The homebound requirement allows for absences of this kind — the guides explain how that test actually works.
Who can make a referral?
Home health needs a physician's order, but anyone can start the conversation. Tell us the situation and we will work out the ordering physician with the family.
